Marie Stinson-Wade, Esq. is a graduate of Seton Hall University where she obtained a B.A. in Political Science and a double minor in Latin and English. She was awarded her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law School in 2000. Marie is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She has been actively practicing law for 20 years.
Marie began her legal career at 16-years-old as an legal assistant while in high school and has worked in the legal field ever since. Her excitement for the law led her to law school where she landed an internship for the Hon. Ellen Koblitz in the Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, NJ.
Marie Stinson-Wade specializes in personal injury cases, However, over the last 10 years she has also specialized in residential real estate transactions having closed on over 400 homes. Marie has been described by her clients as professional, honest, trust worthy and straight forward. She takes pride in representing all her clients with empathy and professionalism.
Marie is a current member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Hudson County Bar Association, the New Jersey Association for Justice and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She is a former President of the Hoboken Bar Association. Marie also served as a mentor for the Senior Mentorship Program at High Technology High School for the 2017-2018 year. Marie is very active in charity and fundraising events. Since 2006, Marie has been a member of the Hoboken Rotary. She was recently named a Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of her contributions to the Rotary Foundation both monetarily and in service. She has served as Club Secretary and President of the Hoboken Rotary Foundation. In 2009, Marie was honored with the prestigious Rotarian of the Year award for exemplifying the true meaning of Service Above Self. Marie has served as Chairperson of the Hoboken Rotary's Literacy Program, which provides books to 1st and 3rd grade students throughout the City of Hoboken. She is also a former Board Member for the Hoboken Charter School, former Chairperson of the Finance Council for St. Ann's Church, former Vice President and current member of the St. Ann's Guild which focuses on spiritual and fundraising activities for the Church.
Marie maintains deep roots in Hudson County having been born and raised in Hoboken, where her family still resides, and with her firm's main office in Secaucus, and Hunterdon County where she resides with her husband and where the firm has a second location.
